There is this tiny person who follows me around. I keep forgetting she can do so, and it surprises me when I turn around and she’s right there. It also surprises the dogs since they follow her around and then she shuts the baby gates and traps them places.
She walks like a zombie with her arms out:
and she really likes to carry things around with her:
We have been giving her all sorts of soft lovey things for her to get attached to so she can have a comfort item, and she has chosen the white cloth diapers we use as burp rags. They may be boring, but the upside is that we have 30 of them, so we’ll never be without a lovey.
Hannah loves her rocking dino and is working on figuring out how to get on and off by herself. Recently she’s started perfecting the art of standing up on it. Definitely not the safest game in the world, but it is funny.
Hannah hasn’t been sleeping well for the last few weeks, hopefully it’s just a phase and one day we’ll look back and not remember the last time we woke up in the middle of the night to screaming. She hasn’t quite mastered standing up from a sitting position without pushing off of something, but she’s done it a couple of times. Adam and Hannah have a new game where she walks away and he “chases” her and picks her up and she laughs and laughs. I think baby laughing might be the best sound ever.
