3 day weekend

We haven’t had a three day weekend in a bit since Adam is now back to working a standard 5 day week. We really enjoyed the extra day. Adam’s mom came and visited and we had a blast getting Hannah’s wardrobe ready for fall. She was nice enough to watch hannah while we visited some friends at the hospital, and Hannah enjoyed showing Grandma some firsts. By the time we got back Hannah had mastered crawling without laying down on her belly and she had figured out how to sit back up from the crawling position. Apparently all it takes is a little time alone with Grandma to master new skills! Hannah also taught us how to wave:

Today’s achievement: Hannah managed to get herself into sitting position in her crib. While this is a cool feat, and a great demonstration of her fantastic ab muscles, it also makes it easier for her to be more convincing as she screams that she isn’t tired. “See, I’m so not tired that I’m sitting up!!!!!!!!!!!” Though, the fact that she is now soundly sleeping 7 minutes later does make it hard for us to believe that.
